PROM!

so I had my prom on the 28th of June, felt so weird after many months of planning it finally came, this is just pictures from the pre prom that were taken by "photographer" lol  Kupa just click her name to check out her blog. anywho, we arrived to prom with army trucks we thought we would switch it up a bit, I thought it was a great idea. Lets talk about the dress, I got this dress online on www.1dress.co.uk although the website says .co.uk it is actually from china, whatever I don't care cos when it came through the post it was more than what I imagined it to be I instantly fell in love with the attention to detail, I am planning on selling the dress though because I have no clue where else I would wear it. Overall prom was great, seeing everyone all dressed up was amazing and the midnight fireworks it was all so beautiful, but now I am ready for a new start at college, secondary was such a roller-coaster.

Hello Sunshine...

So there was finally some sunshine in England, so I had to get the legs out didn't I... we have been blessed with some heat finally and I have been trying to make the most of it, Ooh yeah and say Heeey to my jumbo dookie braid,  it was in fact inspired by the "Blurred Lines" Video. To be honest there is nothing to this outfit it was just a quick throw on. But, I'm so excited to start my summer shopping I have too many outfits in mind    which will explain my post of my July wish list coming soon.

Who wore it better ?

Rappers are now the new style icons. people no longer look at models for the next fashion ideas. with men now wearing kilts and skirts since Kanye took to the stage during his and JayZ's world tour. His Givenchy kilt came with a lot of criticism from the fashion world“They Don’t Like Kanye in a Kilt,” Says Kanye  
  in a recent radio interview,however, was received with open arms by the public. so the question is not who wore it better, its more of a question of can we share?

Even Jaden was captured in this new style as well, seems like the youngers are in on this too. As a very fashionable 14 year old, I think we are bound to start seeing teen age boys in skirts around town very soon.

Fashion Re-wind

hello my lovelies.

Let's talk about re-winding fashion.Okay well clearly the 80's fashion has taken over the 21st century style. Personally I love how fashion has gone back in time, obviously this current century has nothing to bring forward  if you can't beat them, join them...right? plus, the 80's clearly had more fun with their bright colours and abstract designs.

 Let's do a bit of time travel comparison. 

Top 3 Fashion re-winds.. 

1. The huge earring.

The earrings is definitely my favourite come back, something I like about everyone's inner Pat Butcher, infact trying to collect a few of these myself but I don't know where to look for them..

Mmm I kind of wish these would of stayed in the 80's something just scream ALIEN when I see them I just don't get it.

These are the comeback staple garment, so easy to dress up or down and they just look so good on.



Okay so I doubt in about30 or so years from now we will be looking through our photo's and laughing in shock of what we were wearing, I might just keep all my current clothes and keep them for like the coming years and  still be on trend. But, anyways I guess the 80's really did make us.
